This
class covers rappelling basics indoor and basics
outdoor. The basics indoor class teaches you about
rappelling safety/rappelling gear and its application,
rappelling knots and application, and rigging points
needed for rappelling. The basics outdoor class reviews
safety procedures, knots, gear, and rigging points; then
you learn how to safely rappel and do several rappels
before returning to the store for the rappelling test
and knot exam. Total indoor and outdoor cost

Learn how to use a map, compass, and a handheld GPS.
Learn basic navigation and how to pinpoint a location

potter, Tammy Beane, to learn how pottery was made on

rappelling basics then teaches advanced rappelling.
Learn special rigging, mechanical advantage, ascending
and rope walking, alternate rappel devices, changeovers,
advanced knots, safety procedures, special gear, and
backup belaying. You will also do several rappels and a
change over before returning to the store for the

Rally & Concert This is an event fun
for everyone!! For all of you bikers, jump on
and ride the VIPER! Bike Rally will depart on
the Viper from North South Cycles at 9:00am.
Cost is $15 per bike. Not interested in
bikes, come out and enjoy a variety of bands
including; Still Kickin, The Muddy Water Band,
Tiffanie Miller, Shadow Academy, Nuthin Fancy,
Bonita Eileen and Kellie Johnson. The

class covers rappelling basics indoor and basics
outdoor. The basics indoor class teaches you about
rappelling safety/rappelling gear and its application,

you learn how to safely rappel and do several rappels

of DeKalb County's Cherokee Indian Heritage and all
Indian Nations who were forced to walk on the Infamous

This 26th annual
decorating of Eddie’s Garden Center in Henagar is a fun
tradition. With over 75 Christmas trees, each with
individual themes, it’s impossible to see everything in

DeSoto, the first European explorer, as he searches for

Join us for food, fun and games. An antique car and
tractor show, turkey shoot, cake walk, and historic

November 20 Winter Fairy Houses & Hobbit Hike
(Children’s Nature Observation Skills)
Pausing in the woods or along the river to create a
small structure for the good folk gives children the
opportunity to bond with nature on a very personal
level. She’ll also lead a short “hobbity” hike through
an enchanted forest to identify places where fairies
might live or play to teach observation skills to
budding young naturalists. Award-winning storyteller and
naturalist Renee Morrison was taught to make fairy
houses by her grandmother and has been making fairy
houses with her sons and nature campers for decades.

The International Tellebration is a worldwide event
devoted to storytelling. This grass-roots movement is
